Senate Passes Measure to Ban 'Fake News'
Thursday, April 14, 2005

WASHINGTON — The Senate passed a measure Thursday that would stop government agencies from using taxpayer funds to disguise video press releases as real news, putting the brakes on a product Democrats call propaganda. (Note to Fox, most of the thinking population of the world calls it propaganda, not just Democrats.)

Sometime those Fox people just crack me up.

1. Fox isn't an official "government agency".....
on paper anyway, though in reality, they're joined at the hip. Fox's actual obit will be on display after the next few election cycles. It's time for America to clean house (and Senate ;) ) and after 2008 the political landscape in this country is going to change drastically. What tack Fix will take after that is anyone's guess, but adhering to a policy of aligning itself with the rabid right would be ratings suicide, and we all know that the only driving force for ANY media outlet is ratings.
