Beer Drinking in New Orleans
The City that Care Forgot offers many local brews:

If you are ever down to the Big Easy and you want a local taste may I suggest the Crescent City Brewhouse on Decatur Street. I believe this is the place for beer drinkers to hoist a Pilsner. Its gotta a nice taste and a big kick.

1. Stay away from the Pearl, Chief
Unless it's changed in the many years since I was there it's about as bad as Primo.

2. Pearl is some nasty stuff
I stick to Budweiser or occasionally a Pilsner at Crescent Brew. Its pretty good but much stronger than Bud. I can't have too many of them or I get silly.
