my dog unplugged my modem
I spent a good 60 seconds going 'why the F can't i get online????' Then I look under the desk and my dog is laying on all the cords. Thank goodness she didn't unplug the whole computer!

 :dilemma: :banghead:

2. Maybe she's trying to tell you something.
Just kidding.

I'm shooing my cat away right now. Our pets do not like us paying to much attention to this device.

They simply do not understand my fascination with this thing.

5. Our cat has done that for me many, many times.
The really horrible thing is when I crawl under the desk to re-connect the cable modem, and find a lifeless mouse among the tangle of cables. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!

9. My cat is fearless.
He'd drag the little old lady across the street under the desk if her were strong enough. I've gotta say, though, I'm more creeped out by dead mice than dead people. I can call the cops if I find a dead person under the desk, but I doubt they'd take my, "There's a dead mouse under my desk!" emergency too seriously.

11. My cat disconnects the phone
he's learned that he can stand on the phone when he thinks I should be feeding him or taking him out for a walk (he walks on a leash).

So far he hasn't learned how to unplug my modem -- but it is only a matter of time.

He's a Japanese Bobtail -- and he's very intelligent. Perhaps too smart for his own good.

12. that's so cute!
i mean... annoying...

but cute!

my parents try to walk their cats but they won't have any of it. One wrestles out of the harness and the other just lays down and won't move.

15. Hey! My dog ate my voter's registration card
it's true! Luckily, since I vote every chance I can (Vote Early, Vote Often) I know where to go. But since the big brouhaha over the gov's election here, I MAY just get a replacement before I have to go to the polls next time!

18. Actually, her new nick name is 'Li'l Hitler'
although she bounces from fascism (her attitude toward me) and anarchy (her attitude about her own behaviour). Gotta love her though!

if you still have part of it left (with the Serial Number) you can get it replaced.

22. 60 minutes did a story on it years ago
the Treasury dept has people that put money back together. They showed one woman piecing together thousands of dollars that some crazy lady had taken a pair of scissors too and had cut into teeny tiny pieces. They don't restore the entire bill-they pick an area and restore the same area on all the bills submitted. I think a bank would have replaced yours, had your dog not eaten all of it. Too bad your dog doesn't know how many Snausages you could have bought with $10!
