We (the New Media) got Rather and Eason (to name a few big hides on our walls). The Olde Media is just trying to even the score, see if they can still go a round or two with the new kids.
This is an important fight in more ways than one. They (the MSM) tried to re-create their Vietnam victory with Iraq and lost; they tried to bring down a president a la Nixon and failed miserably (and, ironically, lost one of the generals involved in bringing Nixon down). Now they're trying to get a win, any win, with this "Get DeLay" campaign. They've got to prove that they're still relevant. If they lose this one then they've lost the whole enchilada. Watch for this to get really messy.
