My Mom would have been 68 today..
My Mom died in '91 at the age of 54 from pancreatic cancer. I was 22 when she died. Today she would have been 68. She missed seeing her beautiful grandchildren and much more. I often wonder what she would think of the woman I've become.

On days like today the pain is still intense, even after 14 years. The hardest part is I've forgotten her voice, and so many memories have faded. Of course the love remains.

She was my Mom and my best friend and I miss her.

And even though it was in 1981, I still miss her more than I can say.

I am sorry for your loss.

4. So sorry, prozacnation
It's hard to lose a dad, harder to lose a mom (IMO). The dates of my parents' deaths and birthdays are sad days for me and, I'm sure, always will be.
