Anybody know of any good Google tutorial or "how-to" sites? |
|
I'd like to know more about Google searches, the more intensive searches where you use the quotes and various symbols like (&) and (+) and (%). I know they are used to refine a search but I'm not entirely sure how and when to use what. There must be several sites out there that do this, sorta like a "Google for Dummies". Thanks in advance.

http://www.google.com/intl/en/help/index.htmlI think the stuff you're talking about is in "definitions"? Oh actually, it's in Basics (or whatever), here's that direct link: http://www.google.com/intl/en/help/basics.html

I've been buying O'Reilly books for years. This book may be overkill for your current needs. http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/googlehks2/index.html
