My state has a pretty good no call list. But occasionally one of those telemarketing bastards gets through. But you know what ?

I don't give a damn, because when they do, I just start bitching about that retarded fascist bastard Bush and all his little Nazi buddies in the Senate and the Congress until the pathetic motherfuckers hang up.

Those sons of bitches are sorry by the time they give up on me, and they get a fucking ear full too.

I figure if the bastards can make it through the no-call, and reach me, I sure as fuck am telling them EXACTLY what I think of that smarmy little prick. And I mince no words, and I give them fucking hell if they tell me they voted for him.

Anybody who calls that I didn't authorize the call can expect to hear the TRUTH. In spades.

I think you all should do it too.

Aluminum siding, whatever. I make the most of it and tell them what is really going on.

I go easy on the students from my college who call for alumni donations, though. But they know I can't stand *warboy* by the time we have arranged my latest donation.

We have a no-call list, but when they get thru, and they try to sell me something, or ask for money, I am very clear that I will give nothing due to the f*cked up economy and the way these asshats are running our country into the ground.

5. I switched to a cell phone and got rid of my land line

the only thing I was using it for was the internet and I got cable so I didn't even have that anymore. When that happened I got rid of all telemarketers except from the alumni associations.

Hang up on them very quietly in mid sentence. I don't know how many of those trained pests on the other end of the line keep talking and how many realize right away that I'm not there, but they don't call back.

It's the most effective thing I've done to get rid of telemarketers.

Never. They don't get a chance to talk to me now. I talk to them, and I tell THEM what THEY need to know. Actually it is becoming quite fun and cathartic.
