Dang! I love my little bird.....
Gave Murphee my little Tiel a warm shower. She was stretching and chirp-chirp-chirping in her sweet little way.

Dang! It sounded so cute. You had to be there. :hi: :D

I don't know how to set up my scanner after I had my computer fixed. I would love to post some more pictures. :)

Or maybe I'm too lazy to figure it out.

2. My little darling...
Always comes into the bathroom, when I am about to take a shower. Then she wants a blow-dry. Gets all sleepy and crunches her beak happily when I blowdry her.

<---===That's her.

12. My Amazon gets silly during his baths.
He raises every feather on his body, stretches out his wings and ducks his head underneath. Boisterous chatter usually ensues. Afterward, his green feathers are so saturated they look brown. He sometimes gets even sillier during the blow-dry. :)

Um...pictures.

I love my birdy.

15. I would like to see more pictures of your eclectus sometime.
I'd also like to learn more about them. They are "different" from other types of parrots in a lot of ways. They're very definitely--absurdly, even--sexually dimorphic. Most parrots aren't. Eclectus' feathers are different and they don't tend to pair-bond as strongly as other species.

I'd like to know how this affects their behavior as pets. I would love to see pictures and hear stories. :) Even though I've worked with all kinds of exotic birds--some very rare--I've never been around eclectus.

Chuck (left) and Charlene (right) usually decide to "sing" in their loudest screech they can muster..lol.
Chuck can sound better and does the wolf call a lot, but man, those two can drive me crazy sometimes..lol.

If I get up in the middle of the nigh,t and wake up Jake (my Jenday), I hear his little muffled voice tell me to "shut up". Apparently I'm too noisy for HIM!

8. Awww! That's cute. My Grace loves taking a bath.
Last week, my friend brought out a cup of water and she dove right in. She's so cute when she bathes, sits right in the cup and keeps going in and out for a while until she's finished. She holds her wings out so she can get in real good, splashes the water all over her.

Birds love Mr Fuzz.

One thing about birds though, you really can't call them "fuzz butt".

21. My Amazon HATES baths...
She always has since the day I got her from the breeder.. If I leave a bowl of water out she'll get one herself, but if I 'encourage' her to do it, she gets rather pissed..

This is Bingo, my yellow naped amazon... She's 5 and acts like it :)
