I'm leaving DU, I've just had it, damn it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My arms are fatigued, hard to type, and I've got 15 episodes of "Lost in Space" season 3 and 21 of "All in the Family" season 4 to watch.

You didn't expect me to leave in a huff, I hope! I don't think I've burned too many bridges... I hope!

HypnoToad will return...
after a message from this unwitting sponsor!

3. I don't understand Wheaties vitamins.
It seems like a new brand slapped on supplements that you could get elsewhere at any drug store, and probably in almost the same combination somewhere too.

5. Yes, but Wheaties is the breakfast of champions! AND
1) Wheaties Brand Vitamins only costs a wholesome three times that of the competitor! You know it's going to be good because, as we all know, we get what we pay for. :sarcasm:

and

2) Helen Roper often feeds Wheaties to Stanley, hoping he'll hit a home run! :D

6. The acid must be kicking in - 15 eps of Lost in Space?
I could do one or two for camp value, but season three? Danger! Danger, Will Robinson!

There, now that I've insulted you, I'm going to scurry off myself and watch my "Land of the Lost" DVD...

7. Agreed
15 episodes?

Of course, I just watched the entire 1st Season of Gilligan's Island.

11. Can I Netflix Doctor Who?
I've bittorrented a couple, but feel rather guilty about it. If I can legitimately rent them, then I will be a happy camper (and my daughter will be in pure agonizing hell  )

12. Many WHO titles are available. And even the new 9th Doctor series will
be out on DVD next year.

But I've bittorrented the new ones myself (I've bought all the others and will do so for Doc 9 too) because I just can't wait. </hyper> Overall, no qualms in doing so as it's a generally well done series...

8. Actually, and this explains a lot about me (I hope not),
seasons 1 and 2 of LiS never appealed to me; too serious in tone when you consider how perverse that show was*. 3 was always a bizarre hoot and "The AntiMatter Man" is of LiS's all-time greats.

I've seen Land of the Lost on the shevles too... I'll be netflixing those in May. :D

----
* Witness:

1. Daddy Robinson lets his oldest daughter go around on strange unmapped planets with Don West ALL the time.

2. Mommy Robinson is happy doing all the cooking and laundry (how sexist... Star Trek was so much more mature for the time and not trying to rip off Batman...

3. Dr Smith going around the same unmapped planets with the little boy and calling the robot a "bonkers billowing boobie" (or whatever mincing term of the week he prefers to use) and you KNOW he's just got to be a pedophile. Or just gay, which is vastly preferable because not all gay men are interested in children. :puke: Indeed, the Robot always seems to say "Danger Will Robinson!" just as Smith turns the corner... (okay, that's bad...!)

I am so glad LiS tried to 'pull a Batman'. The show just falls apart when trying to take itself seriously.
