Final Star Wars expectations

6. Be an optimst!

It couldn't possibly get any worse than Jar-Jar, right? And even Ep1 had cool lightsaber duels w/ Darth Maul -- Samuel L. Jackson getting down with a lightsaber is worth the price of admission alone.

Remember the famous hypothetical quote:
"A jedi knight's lightsaber: when you absolutely, positively have to kill every motherfuckin' stormtrooper in the room."

2. I'm a hopeless optimist and Star Wars geek.

It's definitely going to be the best of the three prequels. This is what the last two have built up to, so I think it's going to be decent. Once again, the visuals are incredible, but I'm sure the dialogue is going to suck.

4. "Best" is relative

It will probably be the least suckiest of the three.

8. That is what I figured hopefully they Anakin becomes Vader quickly

so we don't have to see another of his brilliant portrayals of a block of wood.

He's only Vader for the last portion of the film.

Well hopefully I can swing watching it at the drive inn. So if it totally sucks I will only have lost $3.50 since it only costs $7.00 and they run double features.

7. The visuals do look cool but you know if you have been around

since the very beginning visuals just don't do jack anymore.

The trailer looks good ... and this one's got Vader, so it's already better than the other two. :-)

16. You know what is really sad

is that the film that Lucas had the least input in "The Empire Strikes Back" is considered the best of the whole series by fans and critics. That is sad since it is Lucas who created the shebang.

instantly disqualifies any suckiness in anything EVER!

I expect episode three to be the story about how Jar Jar is the real father of Luke Skywalker.

I went into the first two prequels expecting a Star Wars movie. Now I'm going in expecting a Star Wars prequel. Since the first two were scum-sucking awful, this one can't be any worse.
