I'd imagine they could use the loot, assuming they maintain the rights.

Devo's selling their tunes, too, but they got so royally screwed by their record companies, it's hard to blame them.

I heard it the other day.
Aargh.
At least it's not quite as bad as the complete tastelessness of having T Rex's 20th Century Boy on a sports car ad a couple of years ago, seeing as how Marc Bolan died in a car accident, but it's right up there.
