2). To: blec93

Ahh I remember when the free Springsteen show brought out 80,000 "fans" in Madison, Wiscosin. Oh wait, that was a Kerry rally. Guess it didn't do much good. FOUR MORE YEARS!

1. Ted Nugent could KISS his ass--I am sure Bruce outsells him
consistently.

2. Considering Ted Nugent hasn't had a hit in over 30 years,
I doubt very seriously he "could kick Springsteen's ass". :eyes:

Say what you will, fool, but Saint Reagan never quoted Nugent. And most likely never heard of him.

I knew that ridiculous incident would come in handy one day.

Damn - only 10 posts to go before I get out of the 700 Club.

Dear people of Free Republic,

I recently had to come into this wonderful country that is your website.

After reading a post about the come back of Bruce Springsteen andt the fact that you think he is anti-american and a traitor just because he dared to use his FREEdom to speak and said publicly that Bush was a liar., i told myself, that, if this wonderful country uses the word FREE to call itself, I should use this opportunity to answer and to use MY FREEdom to speak as well.

I posted under “blec93” an article showing how high the popularity of Bruce Springsteen after the annoucement of his coming tour.

I was very proud to get 272 replies in 24 hours!.... but I found strange that these 272 replies were all hostile to the Boss. So, maybe I was wrong, nobody likes the Boss anymore????

I decided to log in in order to be polite and to give some replies to a few of you (not all of them, because the extremly low intellectual level of the posts did not really desserved hundreds of replies like mine initially did, but as people who voted for Bush we can not really expect much more), and as soon as I logged in, I got an automatic message from the president of the FREE Republic telling me that I was not allowed anymore to use my FRREdom to speak in your country (he actually used other words, but it meant that).

As a militant, ready to die for my FREEdom to speak, I immediately posted a message (like this one) under an other neme (Blec94), message which was almost immediately deleted by your president (the webmaster).

I finally learned one thing, FREE Reopublic is a country were your FREEdom to speak is very restricted, but the nice thing is that if you become president of it, you are FREE to delete messages you do not like or that embarrasse you, so like any Bush fan, you can escape answering if you do not find the words for it. Hitler used to manage its country the same way, free to “delete” anything he was not agree with.

So I found it funny to post again, under an other name, just to check how long this message will stay readable,… and also to give an opportunity to the few of you who will be fast and lucky enough to read it to know mre about your FREE Republic.

Good luck, and if you need some help in oder to really become free, just call me.

…and like your brilliant president told me last time … Bye!

PS: No need to reply again with insults about my grammar mistakes. As you noticed English is not my mother tongue, but at least I am trying to communicate and to learn other languages, which allows me to know much more about other cultures and to know more about you that you know about myself.

8. Winger Bruce Fans
are incensed by the fact that he came out for Kerry and appears to be a liberal. I don't know where they've been for, oh...say...30 years. Don't they listen to his words? It's always been clear to me that that Bruce is a dyed in the wool flaming liberal.

I have a friend who doesn't like Bruce's supposedly newfound politics. To me Bruce has always been political.
