I was dead set against reality TV until I started watching "The Amazing Race", bt that's where it stopped. Then watched "Showbiz Moms... and Dads" (what a bunch of loonies!); some snxious gay dating show in Bravo (I was so ashamed); and I'm watching "Showdog Moms and Dads" (even loonier); and "Project Greenlight". The "Contender" is very moving. These are poor people who have had very hard lives and most have a quiet dignity behind the macho posturing. They gave some of them suits: let them pick out what they wanted from a chic men's store. Most had never had a suit. It was emotional. It's an interesting concept, and the fact that they are almost all studmuffins doesn't hurt.
