I Didn't Get The Job!
3 interviews, 2 tests, 2 background checks, 1 writing sample, all references called w/ great comments. One of three finalists. Tonight, the email: "Thanks for your time, blah blah blah...went w/ another candidate more suited...good luck in your future endeavors.

WTF ever.

1. Next time, don't submit the writing sample in blood!
Don't despair, seriously, just consider it practice for the next go-round. Keep plugging, something will turn up.

4. I didn't either..
I got a phonecall today and a "Dear John" letter yesterday on a couple of jobs I'd put in for. Good luck, though, and keep searching!

5. Sorry to hear that...
but did you have to put on a suit THREE different times? That hurts the most.

8. Just twice..
But I've got another interview with one of the two companies this week. I was told "no" for one job, but the senior recruiter's setting me up with another interview.

6. and here I thought this was another papal conclave thread!

But if they had you in to do that much stuff -- you must have put up quite a fight vs. the competition! I'm impressed. I've never made it that far in the hiring stage. (The one time when I actually got the job was because someone else turned it down ...)

10. Sorry, dude. That blows. I hate when that shit happens.
One time I drove up to DC from Hampton Roads (VA) (about a 3 1/2 hour drive) for a job where they conducted three separate interviews. I met the head of the place, etc. After all that, they didn't even bother to call or even send a form letter. It's like, what, you couldn't even spend money on a frickin' stamp?

Something better will come along. Hang in there friend.:pals:

11. Fucking Bastards
I hate that shit...my condolences friend. It's like...don't you realize I had to put on a SUIT and drive to your place three times (or in your case three hours)? Is that not worth at least some kind of acknowledgement? Well at least they got back to me, albeit email. Like I said...WTF ever. At least UE pays $450/wk.

12. Thanks. This was a long time ago, but still, you don't forget that shit.

It's like their time is more valuable than yours. WTF? I had to take off work, etc.

I hope you find something even better that pays a kick ass salary and has killer benefits.
