Ever noticed how Bush pronounces "rather"? |
|
Edited on Wed Apr-20-05 12:57 PM by elperromagico
Just noticed this in catching a snippet of Bush's "energy" speech. It might just be an anomaly, as I can't recall another time when I've heard Bush say "rather."
His pronunciation of "rather" rhymes with "father" instead of "lather." Is that a Texas thing? I have my doubts.
One hates to nitpick, but even the lib'rul junior senator from Massachusetts rhymes "rather" with "lather." :P
I'm telling you, this guy talks like Thurston Howell when the cameras aren't on.
