WMD found in Tonkin Gulf

Elvis Presley, Capt of the USS Turner C Joy, said his ship found WMD floating in the Gulf of Tonkin after his ship was attacked by bigfoot. It is believed that the WMD found is a variant of the Whitewater virus, which has been traced to a mysterious stain in former House Speaker Newt Gingrich's blue evening dress that he wore to the recent J. Edgar Hoover b-day bash hosted by Ann Coulter.

2. USS Maddox and Turner Joy

Were the two ships involved in the two 'incidents'.

Way back in 1984, I knew a CPO who was on the Turner Joy who swore that he saw the bullet holes from the Vietnamese gunboat from the first incident. And that he had no idea if they were shooting at anything at all during the second. His belief was that the second incident they got jumpy and started shooting at radar ghosts, but 'we were really shot at that first time'.
