I'm so tired of nothing going right for me. |
|
I've been kicking my own ass trying to get employment. I get grief from my mom and my family as if I'm lazy and should already have a job. I can't plan anything because something always gets fucked up. Why is everything going so horribly? It's like the only person I can count on is Skip, and everything else in this world hates me and is fighting me. What the hell is going on? I'm so frustrated. Duckie

7. This is the part of life that sucks. |
|
It will always be better than it is right now.
Find something about your life (i.e. Skip) that makes you happy. Now. Build on that.

6. Hope you have better days ahead |
|
In the meantime at least you have Skip. Some people have no one to count on. Remembering that I have it better than some is what gets me through the rough spots.

8. First off, have one of these |
|
Now, sometimes life deals a rough hand. For some, it's worse than others.
There are some things you cannot change but there's lots more that you can change. Build on what you can change. You can send out hundreds of resumes and still not get a job but find other productive things to do in your life. Volunteer at a soup kitchen, read to school children--I know this won't pay your bills but it is a positive step.
Just remember-as bad as it is for you-others are going through something much worse-cancer, poverty, violence, etc....
Keep your head up and stay positive. I hope things improve for you. I really do.

9. You are trying to find a job in one of the worst economies |
|
the US has ever had. I remember my husband trying to find a job straight out of college during Reagan's 2nd term. Absolutely horrible.
Try not to take it personally; circumstances beyond your control are playing out right now.
