I used to smoke. Sometimes I miss it terribly.

I quit about 4 months ago

still have a piece of gum a day though

I hate it. I had quit in January for four weeks and then went back again after a family reunion. I am planning to quit again on May 2. I used the Farmer's Almanac to do it on the best day for success and this is the day for May. I had also quit once for 5 years, but had gone back after a family disruption. I absolutely hate it. Going to hang in the Smoking Cessation group for support.

I quit cold turkey for 5 days in January, but slipped.

My doctor recommends a clinic where they give you a shot behind each ear and it removes all cravings. Has a 95% success rate, and it's guaranteed. But it costs $400.

13. I quit smoking almost seven years ago.

I smoked half a pack to a pack-and-a-half every day.

Most days, I smoked a pack. Some days I only smoked half a pack, and if I was going out to a bar, it might be as much as a pack and a half.

But the occassional Saturday when I work all day and end up going to a party that night, it can be a whole pack.

But I'm slowly cutting back, a cig at a time.
