I am wondering what to look for re blood clots in the legs. |
|
I slipped on my stairs last week & scrapped up & bruised my calf & ankle pretty bad. Today my knee hurts a lot & I do not know why. I realize I am probably being paranoid because a coworker mentioned blood clots.

1. Skin will be hard, hot and sore |

My friend just had a small one. The ones that kill you are above the knee. You many still want to get it checked out. Otherwise, hot pack and keep elevated. Not a doctor, don't play one on TV.

I don't think that such a recent injury would culminate in a dvt this soon. But I could be wrong, err on the cautious side
