3 questions, just for fun. |
|
Do you keep a journal that's an actual book that you write in with a pen or pencil?
Do you have a flower box in your window?
Look around the room you're in right now. What item in the room makes you feel the most at home?

1. Nope.
2. Nope. But I DO have a nice flower bed out in the front yard. Made it myself. It's a nice raised bed made out of native stone. I planted a lot of color in it, and then added a couple of those cool hanging accent lights, the solar battery-operated kind. Looks nice.
3. All of my family pictures and kid drawings. Have them plastered all over my office.
Back atcha....

No journal. No windowbox.
Here at work I have a Big Boy from the restaurant chain that is about 30 years old. Mine came from Frisch's but most know them as Kip's .
I just love the rubber guy.

1. Yes I do. I keep track of my monthly bills in it. I write notes in it when I go to County Democratic Party Council meetings. And when things get really really bad I write what I'm feeling down in it.
2. No flower box in the windows. My apartment windows aren't really set up for flower boxes. I do, however, have a lot of flowers on my patio. :)
3. I have to pick just one item. Too hard. My computer is in my study/toy room and all my good stuff is in here. All my scifi books, my Star Wars toys, my little stuffed critters that sit on the puter, my "I Want To Believe" poster. The whole room is set up to make me feel "at home". I guess if I had to pick one thing though...I have a little piece of art that my best friend drew for me back in high school in the mid-80s. It's taped to the side of the puter. It isn't a picture OF anything...just a doodle. But I've carried it with me ever since.
