For all us slightly older DUers: Great classic grocery and candy site |
|
Where you can get stuff like classic sodas, groceries, and candies that you might not find in your local stores these days, or since you moved to a different part of the country.
I just ordered some Drakes Cakes Devil Dogs, Big John's Beans & Fixin's, and Necco Wafers (chocolate and regular).
There is so much there I can't even begin to list all of the neat stuff. Candy cigarettes anyone? ;)

Here's another geezer site with all kinds of hard-to-find items:

You won't believe all the stuff they still make. Evening in Paris perfume, anyone?
I can't find the candy I miss. It's just called Candy Tabs, a Pez-like product made in Czechoslovakia. Only one little grocery in my hometown carried it, and it's gone now; nobody online has it. Also no success finding my honey's old favorite, a Van Houten chocolate bar with orange cream filling. I can't even find a good substitute to surprise him with.
