I love life...and just wanna talk to some cool people |
|
A bit of drama tonight and I love my best friends.
We've decided that if the rest of the world was as cool as we are, everything would be grand. Of course, that attitude has pissed off quite a few females along the way but tis I.
Just wanna chat...any takers? Preferably about men - women relationships.

It's alright, I wanna be with you.
No, why did you do BLANK?
It doesn't matter, the most I have to worry about is wakin' up:)
That's bullshit...we have to figure out why you are so blase about BLANK.
It's no big deal, I'm sorry for anything I did and lets just breathe.
No, you don't care about anything (implied: I want you to care about bullshit)
I care, I just don't see the problem.
and so on and so on...

|
Any girl I'm with wants to have a 'thing' that we have to talk about, otherwise I guess her universe ain't right.
I've been called cold hearted and an asshole but that is just lookin through the prism the opposite way.
Where are the cool females? and I use cool in such a way that implies understanding that all this crap going on around us (the world) is just that...crap, and there's no need to worry.

It's how we connect with others. Men can just sit next to each other and watch television and they feel they've established a friendship.
What you want is a guy.

with about certain things - preferably about intelligence. A girl that thinks she's smarter than me and everyone else just kills me. It's not about sex at all.
As my dad told me: Sex lasts in a marriage about five years...then you are with that person for 40 years - find a girl that you can be with."
And I agree. I'm not about sex at all - I'm in Mississippi and just wanna find a girl that I can be with. I dunno...perhaps I'm growing up, perhaps I'm just lame:)

Are you fairly young? You'll probably meet the kind of person you're looking for, or more likely someone you don't think you're looking for but get along with well.

Haven't you got anything to eat or drink? I was also hoping for a few games of ping pong and/or chess. If I just wanted to breathe, I could do that anywhere - except under water. Or in outer space.

26. I'm no fountain of wisdom. |
|
I'm one of those women who doesn't need to talk about something all the time, and it's a good balance, because I'm married to a very quiet guy. We don't creative "issues" just to have something to talk about, if that makes sense.
You're only 24. You've got a lot of time. Don't think that there's necessarily something wrong with you, based on the relationships you've had to now.

25. I'm probably a geezer..but here's a quote |
|
"A single gentle rain makes the grass many shades greener. So our prospects brighten on the influx of better thoughts. We should be blessed if we lived in the present always, and took advantage of every accident that befell us, like the grass which confesses the influence of the slightest dew that falls on it; and did not spend our time in atoning for the neglect of past opportunities, which we call doing our duty." --Henry David Thoreau, Walden (1854)
Oh, if only our government would see that it is everyone's duty, not just the home owners and renters of the world, to preserve what we have for future generations. But I suspect we will be doing what Henry David Thoreau who was one of the greatest transcendentalists to live with nature and write prose (his observations) about it. His work is timeless.
