3. sorry - couldnt help but thinking that the missing "A" was...
... the sanitary grade that used to be on the restaurant's door before the health department's last visit!!!

Funny how it all looks the same on the phone to china. Try some Alka-Seltzer. Works for me every time.

That is the funniest expression I have ever heard! I remember when we were kids we would try to dig a hole to China (handy if your elder wanted to plant a bush or tree in the yard, just get one of the little guppies going, sit back and have a beer!) but I have never heard that term! Kneeling before the porcelain throne, yelling at Ralph, those I have heard, but that one was new to me!

6. We used to call it talking on the big phone to China,
back in the day. I think it was a Central Michigan U thing.
