Every time I think my heart is dead...
I hear something that reminds me it's not (certain songs by certain artists take my otherwise cold heart and turn them into putty ;))and someone sends words my way to remind me that it's not true. Or I see someone else in a new way which restores my faith in humanity all together. There is integrity in this world.

Back to your regularly scheduled broadcast.

P.S. Big glasses of water and Motrin before bed work wonders. :D

2. There's good in the world
But it takes a long time to find it. And even then, it's usually a passing thing.

7. A little steep...
...but I don't disagree that there's a lot more bad than good.
But when you find good, it keeps you going.

15. would you settle for some mediocre?
In the coin collecting world, "good" is not a very good rating.
And Frosted Flakes are not good. They're grrrreat.

12. I don't think so.
Goodness exists very much. In the face of a lot of pain I've gone through, I still see it all the time. There is tragedy and selfishness, but sometimes there's huge bits and pieces of wonderful in there along the way. Open your eyes and look around. Connect with the sadness and understand it, then move forward.

3. Keep the faith, SarahBelle!
You've had some very difficult times here lately, so it's natural for you to feel as though your heart is dead...But it isn't, and neither are you...Stay open for the good stuff! It is out there! May you find some!

14. Being open is hard.
Less energy than attempting to be heartless though. It's just not me. :D

4. I started bawling
watching West Wing DVDs the other day. All episodes I'd seen before, I just lost it. I can't blame PMS...I had a hysterectmony three years ago, and only have one ovary left. I think I'm losing my mind.

16. If you lose your mind
I can give you a piece of mine.
As a super-genius I have more than I need anyway. I hardly ever use it.
