Has anybody seen Michael Penn live? (I swear not a copycat thread)
He's playing in Charlotte tonight, and I'm trying to decide if the 90-mile road trip would be worth it. (I also have to find out if tickets are still available, so it may be a moot question.) I have two of his records from his "next big thing" phase, but haven't heard him lately except with his wife. Any thoughts?

I'm in New Jersey, and I might go...but, alas, I have no car.

I've never seen him live, but 'No Myth' is perhaps my single most favorite song, ever.

But then again I was actually seeing Aimee Mann in concert
