i can't get used to ATA being gone

simiLar, to writing the wrong year on checks weLL into the month of january, i keep going to the main page for some entertaining ATA reading.

is anyone eLse experiencing this? how Long untiL you or i stop doing that?

4. It Was A Learning Experience Too...

... kinda like the middle kid learning from observing the mistakes of his older sibling/s.

Even though people were using it as a forum to publicly air their grievances and dirty laundry... reading the responses helped me to understand admin/moderator decisions, and what types of things were (or were not) acceptable and why some things were the way they were.

was a place to understand the why's and whathaveyou's about the workings of this forum. I have always been of the thought that if one person asks a question, there are several others who never thought to ask it or felt the question was a 'stupid' one. ATA provided some insight as to the workings of this forum that might be lost now that those Q's and A's are not 'public' anymore.

I'll miss my morning dose of ATA and the multitudes of "I'm being persecuted for my religious/idealogical/political beliefs" posts, but I'm sure this will save his sanity in the long run.

And I just read the GD thread on this and it's hilarious that a chunk of the "I'm being persecuted" crowd that lived in ATA accusing Skinner of everything that can throw at him is now playing kissy-face now that he's laid-down the law. Same as it ever was, I guess.

Anyway, sorry it had to come to this, but that's life.
