Okay, how stupid is the TV show Revelations?
You are the infinite creator. You want to get a message out.

You pick a brain dead girl and have her speak a dead language.

You are not a very smart infinite creator.

I mean, really. You are the meanest SOB on the block and you are gonna let one of your old buds give you a run for your money? After you created him?

This show doesn't even play as a "B" SciFi story.

3. Almost as stupid as the programming decision
to air it in the "West Wing" time slot.

Did they really think they were dealing with interchangeable programming and audiences?

4. That's one of my big problems with the End Times story in general
The omniscient, omnipotent Creator of the universe could certainly come up with a more efficient and unambiguous way to bring about the end of time and the world than the convoluted scenario described in the Book of Revelations: the four horsemen, the Beast, the Rapture, Armeggedon (sp?), blah blah blah.

As I wrote in another post, why not just figure out a way to reveal Yourself to the world (You are all powerful and all knowing, after all) and say, "OK, here I am, everyone. I'm God. Because I can, I am now demonstrating to you all irrefutable proof that speaks to each and every one of you in such a way that you can't help but see the Total Truth and Love of Who I am. Now, all you stop this nonsense and start helping me create heaven on earth."

5. The second God did that
The repukes would instantly find a way to disprove God. Because there are a lot of stupid people.

6. Well, that's what Hell would be for
God would sigh, say "I gave you a chance," and relegate them to an eternity away from the rest of the human race.

7. I wish Mystery Science Theater was still around...
I haven't seen the show, but from the commercials it seems like it could be MSTed.

10. I heard the ratings are good
on another GD thread. So you can expect knockoffs with other networks and sequals.

Now, how your write a sequal to the end of the world I do not know.

I embarrassed myself going woohoo, cus I thought it had something to do with the Da Vinci Code piece that was on. The Carl Rove, segment, was on another channel and I wanted to discuss it on DU... saw Revelations, on a Post, thought...religion...posted... sent...oh, duh...I really am a dork... I would never voluntarily watch anything called revelations
