Is anyone else addicted to World of Warcraft?
This weekend I will be without the game, and I am fearing the withdrawal I'll get. :(

1. I can't afford to play MMORPG's right now
Plus I'd have to upgrade significantly to get WoW to run on my box.

2. I must say though, I am impressed with WoW's ability to run on low end...
machines...

Runs pretty well on mine, and I've got the barebones minimum requirements. Running it on the lowest resolution, which still looks pretty good, the bulk of the lag I run into is server side.

4. The servers can be frustrating sometimes
The game doesn't need a significantly great video card or processor, but a lot of RAM will help (1 gb or higher if you can afford it). There are way too many people who have purchased the game and seem to have overwhelmed Blizzard. The game is great, but little things may start to bug you such as well known class spell bugs that do not get fixed right away unless it allows you to do too much damage (I hate my frost mage teleport bug :( ).
Despite any downfalls, the game is brilliant, there are lots of awesome people who play the game, and I could play 24 hours straight if I was allowed to.

6. I like some of the thinking behind MMORPGs but there are too many negative
I don't like the crowds. When exploring I like the feeling that I am uncovering something no one else has seen. Not wading through a crowd like Palm Beech during spring break just to stand in line to beat up an orc.

I like to adventure on my own sometimes. The constant need to keep up with your clan or friends means you get tied to the game in an ending cycle. Take any time out and you lose all your contacts and place.

My fave games are still single player (or small group) RPGs. I wish they would create a game with a persistant and evolving environment with very limited numbers on the iteration you play. That way you can group if you want to or explore to your hearts content. Think Morrowind meets Diablo II.

10. You should check out Guild Wars then. There will be no monthly fee
and questing areas are all instanced.

9. I am. Politics got too depressing for me lately.
WoW has been my passion as of late.

I am eagerly anticipating Guild Wars.

I am on Teranas Server.

11. WoW addict checking in.
Don't have an exorbitant amount of time to play.

I've got a 40 Paladin, and a 20 Mage on Bronzebeard server.
