Who do you think will win this season's Apprentice?
Editorial comment: Craig is a fucking asshole. Does he bug the rest of you too?

Craig is inventive w/r/t merchandise, but pretty inarticulate (forget running a major real estate project - he doesn't have the people skills), and his patience for Kendra's whiney bitchiness has by now worn very thin and he's beginning to react inappropriately.
Kendra's just an immature witch who fixated her anger on Craig way too long ago, and just won't give it up. By now I have this sick feeling that maybe she's a closet racist.
Tana made mincemeat of the ego-bloated amateur attorney tonight.

13. She's been "whining" about Craig for two months. |
|
Edited on Fri Apr-29-05 01:15 AM by Seabiscuit
It's like an obsession.
And her "bitchiness" is how she dismisses him whenever they're on a project together, constantly gives him these condescending glares, and goes on screen on her own bitching and moaning about Craig, Craig, Craig. Fixated beyond recognition.
Would you want someone like that working for you? She's too young and inexperienced and takes things too personally.
I sure wouldn't.
I could manage and contain Craig and use his ideas. I don't think I could go a week without firing Kendra for her bad attitude.
OTOH, I think I could put Tana to good use for a long time.
(N.B.: I know something about employees, owning my own business and being an employer).
Not to rub it in or anything, but Tana's still winning you poll. :0)~

If I had to deal with that asshole, you'd see what a bitch is. I'd take him out in a minute. She has been remarkably patient.
I think Tana is a strong contender in terms of her abilities, but Trump said tonight that he couldn't see her working for him.

|
Not that I blame him for eventually firing Angie.
Did you know that just before he was fired Chris was arrested for disorderly conduct at an Indian casino for losing his temper in public? The guy's a walking disaster area, waiting to explode.
The boy has a very serious problem. They should have screened him out long, long ago.

How has Kendra been a bitch? If anything she's too easy going. She needed to take him down long before tonight's plane fight. The only reason he's still around is because he's been riding her coattails, but his ego is so inflated he doesn't know it.
Remember when Tana and Craig slept while Kendra did the work? And he sat around the entire day babbling about how she didn't have a theme, when she had a very clear theme for that brochure. His problems go far beyond not being able to put together a coherent sentence.
Tana came extremely close to being fired tonight and Trump doesn't like her. She's got a number of strengths. It just depends on how she performs up against Kendra. Craig is out. That much is certain. My money is on Kendra.

|
That's all I need to know. Notice how Tana hasn't been in one huge argument this season? Iowa. Tana is pleasant to be around. Iowa. I grew up there and you can't beat the people. She may not be a "shark", but does the world need any more of those? Craig has no cojones and Kendra has no tact. I knew Ales was gone last night because if this show has another white male winner it will start to lose viewers.

Kendra is a chronic whiner. Craig is a condescending know-nothing. Tana slipped into the top three only because Alex had given up the fight. He looked relieved in the cab.
I think Kendra is the obvious choice, and unless she totally screws up on the final task, I think she's a given. But, my God, I hope he can find something for her to do in an office by herself where she doesn't inflict that whine on anyone.

11. You're right. This is the worst season of all. |
|
The first year a pretty good guy won and is working on a Trump high-rise in Chicago - he's gotten a lot of TV exposure since.
But last year, the woman with the look, the brains, and the savvy (the pretty blond attorney from San Francisco) screwed up inexplicitly on the last challenge, uncharacteristicaly spacing out and falling asleep on the job. As a result she came in second to a right wing militaristic nut job. Interesting how no one's ever heard about him since?
This year, if I were Trump, I'd fire them all and start all over.

10. I'd like a triple-firing next week |
|
Tana seems to be the most consistent, but her biggest acheivement seems to be putting sparklies on T-shirts. Kendra did an awesome job with the brochure, but other than that she seems to be whiny, indecisive, and way too convinced of her own brilliance. I liked how she talked about taking charge of the task, then wouldn't decide anything. Still, if she came up with the art collector idea then that's two big pluses for her. Craig seems to have limited himself to alternating between philosophical maunderings and sniping at Kendra. Just fire them all, already...

but before the episode with the brochure, I never considered her a serious challenger. She may win it. I agree that I'd love to see him fire all three. I can't imagine he'd hire any of them through a normal job interview.

only 3 votes?
Imagine how well Kendra and Craig would have done tonight if they had priced the shirts higher. They were selling to an art market, in a shi shi boutique in Manhattan, and they priced the merchandise like they were selling at the beach. I have no background in business and don't pretend I'd do well in a corporate job, but I think I'd have done better in a number of these tasks than this crowd has.
Another instance of Craig being stupid: giving people discounts AFTER it was clear they were buying the merchandise anyway?

(You're not alone in having him get on your nerves!) I'm not quite sure between the two others; I haven't watched for the last couple of weeks.
I'm glad that that guy with the anger management issues got fired recently.
I was rooting for Erin the most, though, who got fired a couple weeks ago. Even though it was her own cockiness that got her fired I was disappointed to see her go 'cause she really seemed to know her stuff. I kinda lost interest in this season after that.

39. Kendra's going to win and here's why |
|
1. The first time she came on radar was with the golf course task. She met with the marketing department and locked an exclusive marketing deal for her team. Hence, they won the task.
2. The next big score came with the FUSE auction. She and Tana met with the talent and came up with great ideas for the stars to auction off. Hence, they won the task.
3. With the pizza task, even tho she did not contribute to the pizza concept, and seemed frustrated with her teammates, she and Tana went to multiple offices and promoted the pizza for entire staffs of people. Hence, they won the task.
4. So far it looks like Kendra and Tana are both pulling equal weight. When Tana kept her cool during the Wearable Tech task it seemed she was pulling ahead. But with her immunity, she bailed on Kendra the following week. With Tana and Craig both giving her zero support she pulled an all nighter and by herself put together a brochure that was so kick ass the company is going to use it. Kendra pulls ahead.
5. The Staples task. Craig is the team leader but it's Kendra and Tana doing the market research that nails the win.
6. The Tee shirts - it was Kendra's idea to contact the artists client list - and that won the deal. Plus, she had to work with someone who was essentially an adversary - and she still pulled off the win.
Kendra in six of the last 8 weeks has come up with the marketing or promotion idea that has won the task. She has never lost as a team leader. Her only problem might be that she was low on the radar the first eight weeks, so whoever Trump brings back to help with the final task, they may rally around Tana and Tana may score more points for Leadership. But Kendra would never has spent 2 plus hours going to Staten Island to buy beads. So unless she has a major meltdown in the final task, Kendra is the next Apprentice.

Based on the interviews during the past two years, the culture of the Trump organization is very conservative. They were not impressed with more upbeat, showy, or folksy personalities like Jennifer, Amy, or Nick.
Tana is nice, but I don't think her personality will win her friends during the interview portion. Kendra would more easily fit in. Plus, she has the college education that most in the Trump group probably share.
Craig is a waste of space.
