Best thing you ever found, money, article, etc?
I found a 20 dollar bill, that's the most money I've ever found. I found a purse one, turned it into the police, didn't bother to steal the money inside, I left that for the police to take care of.

My father found two 100 dollar bills in a public bathroom once.....WOW that's ain't shitty!

Other than that, I really haven't found anything awesome...

1. I don't find much
My sister found an expensive watch and wears it. She also found most of her furniture on someone's curb or by a dumpster.

5. When I was 17..
which was more than 17 years ago, some friends and I pulled into the parking lot of a 7-Eleven. When we got out of the car we noticed a rather large plastic bag of marijuana.

After looking around to make sure there wasn't a policeman standing somewhere watching the parking lot, we grabbed the bag and got back in the car.

8. No, I said it was a large bag...
It was every night for about two weeks. Of course now that I'm older I know how stupid this was.

Good thing I didn't know then what I know now, huh.

11. Lucky
I wish that I could have been that lucky anytime in the past week. I think that I've quit going through withdrawal or I'd be rather irritated right now. On the otherhand, I still am awake.

18. I found a bag of weed in a restroom at Fenway Park.
Was a standin at the urinal looking down at the floor and there it was. An ounce (lid) bag of decent Columbian. My buddies and I caught a good buzz on the drive home.

9. At various times
Edited on Wed Oct-22-03 10:18 PM by Harrad
$1-$20 here & there, 1/2 oz sinsemillia in p.l. of Manhattan Beach 7-11, Hitachi stereo I dodged as it fell out of the back of a delivery truck. Nice set of binoculars last year.

Worked @6 Flags one summer, there was hardly a day went by I didn't find weed. usually around the concessions, bathrooms or roller coasters. Thank goodness they didn't drug test in those days. :)

12. Father-in-law's basement
I was borrowing tools, and I found something a little different and valuable that he bought 50 years ago, used once, and put away. It's a useless tool that's now prized by collectors because there aren't many of them around. He didn't want to sell it.

Unfortunately he died earlier this year. I'm selling it (the tool, not the late Father-in-law) on eBay now for my Mother-in-law, it's currently at $200. I expect it'll sell for around $400 when the auction's over...

17. a Stanley #144 corner rounding plane
...in near-mint condition. According to an online reference to these things, "...many of them are found in nearly unused condition, which should give the astute reader that the things don't work worth a damn." ( http://www.supertool.com/StanleyBG/stan13.htm#num144 )

The rest of his stuff (some of which was *his* fathers,) the useful things, are staying in the family. My grandkids will be using some of their great-great-grandfather's tools some day.

15. About ten years ago I found $7000...
....outside of a bank by the curb.
I turned it in and was informed by the bank (in a letter)
that the person (s) claimed it.

PS: Not even a Thank You from the person or the bank...

Ps: What's really funny is a month later I was overdrawn by $1 and change and (naturally) got hit with an overdraft fee.
