I've only seen it a few times, but that's enough to now compel me to want to watch it every week. Great show!

1. Yes, I just started watching it, too. |
|
I assumed the last thing TV needs is another medical drama, but when the lead character is a misanthropic, cynical crabass, that makes it all the better.

4. I LOVE "house" . It is a caracter centered ER. |
|
it is witty , sardonic and well acted. I usually could care less about medical drams's but this is fabulous! My DH and I are addicted. Houses caracter is dynamite. And did you know he is British and has to think about his accent everytime he speaks? He says it is really difficult for him. As one who does accents easily, I can't relate, but bully for him. It cretainly isn't obvvious. He does a wonderful job!

5. Yes, VERY character driven |
|
The medical mumbo jumbo isn't there as a plot device, but to enhance to the character driven plots. And they're all real people, too - not cardboard idiots like ER had. No one's really bad, no one's really good. They're very real that way.
And I like character driven plotlines.

8. One of the three shows I watch regularly ... |

Along with Lost and The Simpsons. Clever writing, interesting characters, and terrific acting--what's not to like?
