So, my cube-neighbor is arguing with her boyfriend AGAIN
This happen at least once a day, and the phone calls usually go on for about an hour. I'm starting to get sick of this.

3. I'm going to start transferring calls to her, I think.

2. HAHA, sorry ever-time I see that photo I laugh.
At least you don't have to sit next to the guy that talks in Japanese and Chinese all day really loud. My advise would be to throw some paper at her with a note to tell her to take it outside.

4. Does your workplace have a "personal calls" policy?
We're allowed to receive them if they're "brief and necessary." (emphasis mine) Sounds like your cube-neighbor's calls are neither and that hour she's spending bickering with him at least once a day is an hour the company is paying her for.

I used to work with someone who did the same thing, and it pissed me off that while I was busting my ass working she was gabbing on the phone. That personal shit should be taken care of on personal time, imo.

5. At my friend's company he calls this 'Reverse Telecommuting'
Definition: doing things at work that you could do at home.

7. There's a policy somewhere.
We're a non-profit, so the enforcement of rules is pretty lax. It just gets on my nerves that the rest of us are busting our humps to get things done, while she's on the phone having a long drawn-out argument. It's really not a big enough deal for me to mention it to anyone else; I just felt like bitching about the situation. Aside from the boyfriend dramas, she's a really cool person.

6. So, while she's doing that
are you taking calls that should be going to her?

If you want, I can call you and we can stage a bigger, better mock argument. ;-)
