What are you favourite songs from early childhood?
Only early childhood please.

Mine have got be Yes sir, I can Boogie from Baccara, stuff from Boney M, and things like Simon & Garfunkel or Joan Baez that my Dad used to play and sing to me at the bottom of my bed. It was early '76 so that would make me 5 at the time.

23. Must be one of my earliest too
even though I was born many years later it's one of those songs that was always played. I used to watch alot of Elvis films with my Nan before I started school at 4 so that surely has something to do with it too.

like "Sincerely" ... or Gale Storm's "Dark Moon" ... or "This Old House" or "A White Sport Coat and a Pink Carnation" ... or that my brother and sister were teenagers in the 50s and brought their music into my world like Ricky Nelson and stuff ... or that we sang songs like "She'll Be Coming 'Round the Mountain" when we were on the road ...

31. I remember jumping up and down whenever my older sisters
would play the Beatles' song "I wanna hold your hand." I also remember liking it when my mom played any Tom Jones record, especially Pussy Cat, pussy cat or whatever that song was....

My favorite kid song from my childhood was Rubber Ducky. It was on a Sesame Street record. On this record was also Kermit's song "it's not easy being green." The album cover folded out and had the song lyrics written on the inside. I LOVED that album. I also remember trying to rub my stomach and tap my head at the same time because of a song on that album. Anyone else have this record when they were kids?

34. Has anyone heard of Joan Armatrading?
She's this excellent, moving solo singer from the West Indies. My moms had a whole bunch of her vinyl albums even before I was born, and I loved to hear her songs even as a very young child.

to me from the bottom of the bed. He still mentions her stuff when he talks about music.

My old man was never a musician, but he zaught himself the guitar and played some amazing songs to me. That's the kind of thing you never ever forget.
