I cam upon a weed that I liked. I wanted it for ground cover, it was so cool. For about three years, much to the chagrin of my (now ex) wife and father-in-law, I tried to nurture it and get it to spread. I would go out almost every day and watch the botanical battle between it and the St Augustine. I imagined that it was a fierce battle, even though it was slow, and would try to discern tactics and strategy; even going so far as to intervene as I could.
But the St Augustine beat it back eventually. That stuff is relentless, like the Borg. Bummed me out.
