Name a Generic/CostCutter/House Brand Grocery That You Just Cannot Buy? |
|
I have not been able to find a House Brand of Coffee that I can drink. I must have Maxwell House! Now someone can tell me that they donate millions to the GOP :(

They're part of the Phillip Morris tobacco company. And as far as Heinz ketchup goes, believe it or not, they DO give more to Republicans.
The Freeps got all excited about their stupid "W" ketchup without remembering that the Heinz family were Republicans up to and including Senator John Heinz himself, and as such the corporation has contributed to Republican causes. The Freeps thought they would financially hurt Teresa Heinz-Kerry, who as it turns out, is merely a minority shareholder in the company and has nothing to do with their contributions.
Sorry to ruin your lunch plans.

8. can't do generic soda. |
|
Interestingly my brother can, even though he's a staunch right-wingnut. He tried to convince me "Dr. Thunder" was the equivalent of "Dr. Pepper."
Actually, that sort of lack of discernment is what I should expect from a Republican.
