This site is WAY too strange.

Check it out, has anyone ever seen this before?? Anyone know how they do it?? I must have tried it 20 times and it always works. Sure has me stumped!!

1. The number whose symbol you look at . . .
is always divisible by nine. And that symbol is always the one the site displays. Then you try it again, all the symbols change, but the ones next to 9, 18, 27, 36 and so on are always the same.

4. It didn't give me the number I was thinking of
but that was because I did the math wrong in my head. If I had gotten the math right it would have been right too.

9. Yes, Post #1 nailed it.
Any 2 digit number, adding the digits and subtracting from the munber always ends up in a number divisible by 9 (actually works for 3 digit numbers too). so, the symbol for all potential numbers divisible by 9 is what it shows and each time you retake it they switch symbols but all numbers divisible by 9 are always the same as each other.
