Who is the evilest person you've ever met?
I almost bumped into Cheney at the Pentagon.

I had to scrape the slime off of me.

9. That kind of comment deserves a baseball bat to the crotch.
Not just from you, but from everyone else trying to live in a civilized society.

2. Before or after he was VP?

Have you had your shots?

Evilest person I ever met was a guy who dated a former boss. Compulsive liar.

My former employers were also evil because they stole from the poor. (Which is why I quit.) But in person they were very polite.

5. He was SECDEF then
It was before I became political

Right after we invaded Panama, I started asking questions and didn't like the answers.

The rest is history

7. A tossup:
1) my doctorate advisor, who ranted and screamed and threw things publicly whenever she didn't get her way, and
2) our receptionist when I was in Washington, who could never turn down a chance to be racist, condescending and mean to whoever was available, and continually went on about how fantastically beautiful she was (she looked like Skeletor and had the voice of Darth Vader-no exaggeration)

8. There's this girl I used to date.
I swear she was the most evil person I have ever known.

Second to her, former Illinois Governor George Ryan.

12. At one of my teaching jobs, I attended a committee meeting
at which the professor chairing the meeting kept referring to "getting a man to teach this" and "getting a man to teach that."

I was so new and so shocked that I didn't say anything, and I got the distinct impression that the guy was trying to get a rise out of me.

After the meeting was over he slithered up to me and said, "(Lydia's real name), you seem like the type of woman I'd like to know better. Do you want to come over to my place for a drink after dinner tonight?"

I made up a fictitious boyfriend on the spot. This man set off my creep detector as no one has before or since.

A couple of weeks later, I was visiting someone I knew through the Central America committee, and a friend of hers dropped by to complain about her latest argument with her father. This new visitor was obviously very troubled, but she was telling how her father had raped her and beaten her late mother. I gradually began to realize who her father was: the slime who had propositioned me after the meeting.

:scared:

15. my roommate freshman year
of college. I can't even begin to describe the horrible, manipulative shit she did to me and everyone she met. The last three months of the spring semester I would come home late (sometimes after 2:00am) and leave early (usually before 7:00am) just to avoid her.

Did I mention she was a born-again fundamentalist Christian freak who told me she would "pray for me" so I would find Jesus? What a nightmare.

18. The pastor at the huge fundie megachurch down here
aka The Death Star or Six Flags over Jesus.

Delightful character who called Buddhism, yoga, and other thing I can't recall at the moment witchcraft among other things. He was also a big poobah in the SBC.

And when he stepped down early this year, the unholy Trinity of Fallwell, Dobeson, and Robertson came here for his last service. It all over the local news here

:eyes: :puke:

19. My son's 2nd grade teacher.
She was informed that she won't have a job there next year and has decided to take it out on the kids. I won't go into everything, but I am ready to strangle her! No child deserves what she has been dishing out recently.

20. My best friend's mother
She was a narcissistic nightmare who made my teenage life hell! The best feeling in the world was becoming a "grown up" and not being forced to have her affect my life anymore. Very bad memories. :scared:

22. The HR Director at my company
Long story which isn't worth telling, since any wage slave can tell it for me.

HR is not your friend. They are toadies of Management, and their sole purpose is to deny you the wages that your job should entitle you to. They will make sure that you are the one who gets laid off 2 weeks before you become vested in the company pension plan. They are the ones who will make sure that you get fired for some imaginary cause (after you have become vested), to make sure that you can't collect on said pension.

If, for some reason, you manage to last almost until retirement, HR will make sure that you have to "leave the company" before you are eligible to collect full retirement benefits.

When I was an Admin in Management, we hired (what we thought was) the coolest HR lady. Shortly after we hired her, we had to hire a new Managing Director. Apparently he gave her new marching orders, and she betrayed all of us who lobbied to get her hired in the first place. She is a c**t of the first order.

I love my job, but I'm afraid that it is only a matter of time before I am frog-marched throught the corridors with my belongings in a cardboard box.

What was my offense? I tried to do the best efficient job I could do, while at the same time, considering the company's best interests. Apparently, that is no longer a value in W's America.

No, I'm not bitter. I'm just waiting for the other show to drop, and when I go in for my exit interview, that bitch is going to get an earful. If all goes well, I will leave with my head held high, and hers will be hung in shame.
