Poll question: Breakfast! How do you like your eggs?
I like them several ways, but I think over-medium is just about perfect.

(with grits, crispy hash browns, and toast!)

4. That sounds yummy.
I haven't had a soft boiled egg in a long time. :9

If there were more room on the poll, I would have included an omelette option. I love a Greek omelette with spinach, tomato, olives, and feta cheese.

3. My sister-in-law got me hooked on shirred eggs
you crack the egg into a buttered custard cup and set the cup in a water bath in the oven and bake until the egg is set. A few minutes before it's done you put a spoonful of cream on top. It's my favorite way to eat them, along with crisp bacon, fresh fruit, and toast.

10. Basted: modified sunny-side up.
Straight sunny-side usually has runny white.
Grandpa taught me "basted" when I was a kid.
He'd cook up a skillet (cast iron) of sausage patties.
Then gently break one or two eggs at a time into the hot sausage grease.
Let the whites set, and then spoon hot grease over the top until the whites and yolks were set.
He called them "sop-eggs" cause we sopped up the yolks with biscuits/toast.
Yum!

15. Gashouse eggs
That's what they call them in the midwest - my mom calls them egg-in-the-hole. You poke a 50-cent-sized hole in the middle of a buttered slice of bread, drop it in the frying pan, break the egg into the hole, and flip easy when the first side is golden. Serve with assortment of condiments.

21. I remember George Foreman's thoughts about eggs..
Time Life video was selling off Mohammed Ali's "best of" fight collection about a decade ago, and they used to run a commercial for it on late night T.V..

When they interviewed George after one of their fights, the commentator asks George, "George, did he hit you hard?"

George responded, "I like eggs. I like them scrambled!"

24. modified huevos rancheros
I fry two eggs and when they're almost done, I sprinkle a good amount of white cheddar cheese and add a couple of spoonfuls of fresh salsa.

I then cover the pan briefly to melt the cheese. YUM!! :9

29. A concoction of green onion, spinach, diced potato, mushroom
and whatever else I have hanging around the fridge. Fry up finely diced potato, then fry mushrooms, spinach, and green onion last. Whisk a few eggs in a bowl, pour over veggies and then let fry for a bit, then put under the broiler with some grated cheese.

32. For everyday eggs,
I like them over easy, but if I feel like something special, I'll order them poached, with an english muffin and some slices of tomato--put some spread on the muffins, add the tomato, and then the poached egg on top. If there's a chance I can get Hollandaise sauce, I will put it on top. A vegetarian version of Eggs Benedict.

34. Have you ever tried Eggology whites only eggs?
Edited on Sun May-08-05 11:32 PM by Radio_Lady
It's a really great product. Check them out at:

http://www.eggology.com

They have a store locator to see if there's a place to buy them in your area! They will ship the product to you if you don't have a place to buy it in your area!

Here are answers to the most frequently asked questions:

Eggzactly what is in it?
100% pure fresh organic liquid egg whites. Each bottle is USDA approved, pasteurized, tested for salmonella & listeria, kosher, egg whites... absolutely nothing more !!!

No preservatives, No chemicals, No colorings or gums. Eggology is All Natural, and we don't change anything – that’s why you can see the floating white particles and foam as they are a natural part of egg whites. Eggology is the only egg product packaged in a clear bottle, because they're the only egg whites that are pure & fresh!

Eggmergency to be fresh ?
Eggology is only 3 days from the ranch, that’s why they taste sweet without any seasoning. Unlike store bought eggs that can be months old, or egg substitutes that have been pre-frozen to stop them from becoming spoiled, Eggology is really farm fresh. Take the test…. Try scrambling Eggology (just plain) you’ll taste the difference!
