I'm listening to the Beatles White ALBUM
on a RECORD PLAYER. Even the scratchs are music to the ears. I never had an Ipod in High School but I did have an 8-track in my 51 Chevy Pickup, tooling around the highways of North Arkansas cranking up Rare Earth tell me WHAT'D I SAY. Fond memories of that old Truck. My girfriend invented oral sex in its roomy cab the summer of 71, long before anyone heard of Bill Clinton. It was on a side road off of Highway 62 between Fayetteville and Farmington. I know there is some dispute about whether she actually invented oral sex that night but I sure did want to give her a Nobel Prize afterwards and because of her "invention" I'd lie about anything she wanted me to. Powerful stuff.

1. LOL
You dated an inventor..

One of these days I am gonna grab me a 12-pak and set up the turntable and listen to my vinyl. I have around 1,000 of them, so maybe I will just get a keg.

2. Be VERY Careful!
"Psycho-politicians are using the Beatle music ... to hypnotize American youth and prepare them for future submission to subversive control... a systematic plan geared to making a generation of American youth mentally ill and emotionally unstable."

--"Communism, Hypnotism, and the Beatles," by Rev. David A. Noebel
(quoted from "The Beatles Forever," by Nicholas Schaffner, still the best damned book about the Beatles! Page 53)

3. More!
Never lister to "Back In the USSR" alone or with others. The Rev. Noebel warned in "The Beatles: A Study In Sex, Drugs, and Revolution," that "the lyrics have left even the Reds speechless." This may be what happened to your girlfriend! Lucky you are alive today.

5. Is it okay to listen to Back in the USSR
played forward and when the sun is up? That's optimal conditions right now. I'd be more than happy to thank the Beatles for inspiring my girl friend, God Bless Her.

6. For those who
remain unconvinced of the dangers of the Fab Four, I submit this report from Dr. Joseph Crow, who in the late 1960s was narrowly recognized as America's "Number One expert on musical subversion."

"Some of the newer Beatle songs ... show an acute awareness of the principles or rhythm and brainwashing. Neither lennon nor McCartney were world-beaters in school, nor have they had techincal training in music. For them to have written some of their songs is like someone who had not had physics or math inventing the A-bomb.... Because of the techical excellence it is possible that this music is put together by behavioral scientists in some 'think tank.' .... I have no idea whether the Beatles know what they are doing, or whether they are being used by some enormously sophisticated people, but it really doesn't make any difference. It's results that count, and the Beatles are the leading pied pipers creating promiscuity, an epidemic of drugs, youth class-consciousness, and an atmosphere for social revolution."

Take the Beatle records off, and keep your clothes on!

10. Another innocent life lost
to those Beatles. I believe that they had beer on their cornflakes in Germany.

When I was in college, the White Album was always playing. At Herkimer County Community College, in the late 1970s, friend Ted and I used to play different parts backwards to those who were properly intoxicated on various substances. Great music.

7. I used to love listening to that album on my 8-track...
I could always here the faint music of another song in the background. :-)

9. Oh, how I envy you your Record Player.
Here I am with over 200 pieces of vinyl that haven't seen a needle in almost a decade. My (yes, scratched) copy of the White Album is in there, somewhere.

Ain't no sound like vinyl sound. None.

11. I bought a Detrola
at K-Mart last week ..... as cheap and crappy as it is, it has inspired me to find a good quality turn-table. My sons are amazed at the quality of music that came out in the 1960s and early '70s. Wait until you hear this on a real stereo, boys!

12. I just about wore out an old one and my wife
got me a new one for Valentines Day. Its old and boxy, nothing fancy but makes great music and ads a nice classy nostalgic look to the den. I think it cost less than $80.00. Check out

Treat yourself and break out the vinyl.
