Oh Man!!! I was going into this room to look for something, but
I forgot what room or what it was I was looking for.

I smack my head, and ask -

Have you ever done that?

1. Sure, but I always get the train of thought back
by asking the question "What was I working on?" The answer almost always sends me back into the same room with a renewed info system.

5. Too many times
It's so frustrating.

Even worse is putting something in a safe place or obvious place. Of course, I can never remember where the safe or obvious place is! I talked to my sister about it, telling her I was getting a little worried. She simply said, "well, we're getting older." Crap.

2. Yes
it happens all the time to people...even as teens.

You're just busy thinking about something else.

3. But it happens even when I'm focused
and concentrating and repeating what I'm doing.

My mind never seemed to work like those others had, but this gets frustrating!

4. Well you may think you're focussed
but you'll find your mind has a way of wandering off onto a thousand other things while you're on 'automatic'

'Automatic' is what you're on doing daily routine things.
