1. I saw the BJ thing in my local weekly not too long ago

My local free weekly newspaper has a very active "Speak Out" forum. Each week, I would guess they print around 30 or so items, some political & some not. A few weeks back, somebody wrote in about how Bill Clinton had disgraced the presidency by dropping his trousers in office.

So, my response was something about Watergate, shadow governments, & secret bombings under Nixon; Iran-Contra and more convicts than all other presidents of the 20th century combined under Reagan, not to mention creating Osama bin Laden & giving WMD to Saddam; and of course, the worst lies have been under Bush Jr. I think I also slipped in a bit about how many presidents had had affairs, including Bush Sr with his mistress.

I get at least 1-2 published per week in there - it's anonymous, so I try to write at least one per day. I've had as many as five in one week published.

They have taken the "Speak Out" off of the internet. Probably because I posted on here before asking for submissions...

I moved into the area last summer and the political LTTEs in Speak Out were majority conservative, except for 1 lonely person defending Michael Moore (this was around the time Fahrenheit 9/11 came out)... since then, I've managed to recruit a few others to at least write in fairly regularly and it's now mostly progressive political stuff in there. The only exceptions are maybe once a month a whiny RWers writes in & complains about too many libruls writing in to Speak Out...
