Moe killed a Black kingsnake today!

I came home from the store today and there was the gang in the cow pasture across from the driveway in a circle. They didn't come running like they always do. I hopped the fence and then I saw moe grab the snake and toss it in the air. I didn't know what kind of snake it was so I yelled at them to come. Moe wasn't finished with the snake and he continued attacking it. I was worried about it being a copperhead so I ran back to the truck and got my trusty old shotgun out. I yelled at moe again to come, he didn't. I fired a shot into the ground and moe figured out he should get away from the snake. I walked up to the snake and saw, much to my relief that it was a black kingsnake. It was torn up pretty good but still alive. I put it out of its misery.
I guess Moe and I should spend some more time training?



On edit- Moe is the one on the left in the middle. The rest are his two brothers and his momma. The two older dogs are not in this shot.
