Senior walk attire
does anyone know anything about proper attire for this ritual? My daughter is graduating from HS this month. On Friday they are having "Senior Walk". From what i understand it some sort of ceremony to present scholarships etc.. the thing is, its being held in the gym of the HS but the kids are being told not to wear jeans. They are going to be sitting on bleachers for Christs sake. I can understand not wanting torn or ripped jeans and i could understand if this even was going to be held in a nicer venue. My daughter wants to wear a nice pair of jeans, heals and a nice top. There's no way they can pull her aside and give her shit for wearing jeans is there?

2. What about a pair of khakis?
Just as comfortable, and meets the requirement of "no jeans".

3. I wouldn't take the chance.
Maybe a nice pair of khakis with a nice top. If she wears jeans, someone in administration might perceive it as defiance and pull her aside and not let her 'walk'.
