Go ahead, lie. How many of you have ever been teased sexually by a quiche? |

7. Today I visited my personal physician. He would not admit he was my doctor |
|
When I inquired as to the cause of this behavior, the doctor admitted that he had nothing particular in mind. The nurse was quite solicitous towards me in part due to the situation of having an appointment for which I would be billed and only to have the doctor deny he knew me.
As I sat in the waiting room devising a stratagem by which I could force an acknowledgment of association--an older man who was also waiting passed me a slip of paper upon which was related his life story. It seems as though in a time passed the old man had been involved in producing military weapons of some secrecy. His crowning moment of his career came with his invention of a weapon that would confuse the enemies alphabet.
While he had many stories to tell involving the workings of the military and its associated malefactions none were of interest to me for I had found , wedged deep between the plastic cushions of the waiting room settee, an article in a magazine foretelling the danger of space monkeys.
