2. We're discussing it now
and open to suggestions. A state park, maybe? Someplace where we could cook out, for certain. Someplace where we could have some alcohol too-can't do a good barbecue without beer...

3. The Cleveland Metroparks are fantastic.
Not sure about the alcohol restrictions, though. I'm pretty sure most state parks forbid alcohol.

5. Do we know where yet?
Are you still considering somewhere between Columbus and Cleveland? If so, I'm game. I've been to a few DU meetups and they are so fun-- even for a lurker like me.

Unfortunately, one of the FAQs on the state parks website:
Are alcoholic beverages allowed in the park?
Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in public areas in every state park.

8. let's make sure it's centralized
like, say, columbus. within walking distance of 12th ave. would be best for everyone, i would say :P

9. We can hold it in my back yard
I've been looking for a good excuse to buy a grill. We can all get drunk and annoy my neighbors, then every one can crash at my place if you bring a sleeping bag and possibly an air mattress.
