Let the sunshine in!

Only ten bucks, too. Man, I really wish we could start a second HAIR movement-- it's perfect for the time we're in now!

"Listen, man-- I know how it feels! I used to come from Kansas myself!"

2. OK, this dates me, but
I saw "Hair" live on Broadway in 1969. Loved it. Still have the old LP.

3. It's great, but I love the soundtrack to the movie better.
It's just more alive and spontaneous. Besides, the choreography of the dancers is fantastic.

6. Maybe so, but by 1979 it seemed kind of dated.
But in 1969 it was pretty avant-garde, at least for Broadway. Pretty exciting to see it then, not only because of the music and the choreography, but also because it had a naughty reputation, what with all the naked actors.

4. I could not sleep
the night before my first child was born and that was the movie I watched. My water broke shortly after and it WAS February so it was really perfect. Everytime I see the movie is on I think of that wonderful day.

5. Treat Williams was such a hottie in that movie!

He's still a hottie, but I loved the hair he had in "Hair" :P
