Did you know that "hide the thread" doesn't work on Skinner's threads?

5. I assumed it.

I'm an admin at a community forum, and I know that our members can choose in their user CPs not to receive PMs and add members to the "ignore lists" in our forum . . . for everyone except me and the super-mods. We don't use the same software as DU, but it's darn close.

9. It makes sense

not to be able to ignore Skinner, the admins and mods but I do wish that damn thread would die! It was a little scary to see how some people reacted to the fact that the mods weren't going to touch them. And those are probably the same people who think that "grown ups" don't need rules and should be able to self-monitor. Yikes. :(

Maybe if we all stay far, far away from it, it will go away sooner than later. I feel your pain. :hug:

the admins, but in this case, I'd really, really like to be able to hide that thread. ;)
