Black and Decker. Of course their instructions are worth s---. Finally got it together, changed from night light to day light and a power flashlight. Now that it is together, I love it. The best floor fan I ever owned with great controls.
Directions are tiny, the screws are tiny, but daylight helped put this frigging fan together. In daylight I had to have a flashlight to see what I was doing. I think since the fan is all black, that could be the problem.
The fan is called the Typhoon.

If you have unoccupied rooms on the South side during the day or East and West sides during sunrise and sunset, it might not be a bad idea to close the blinds in those rooms, plus the airconditioning vents and doors to them. When you do need them, it only takes 10 seconds to reopen them.
Fans are also good if you can get away with raising the temperature on your airconditioning.
