The Prophet and I met when we were 300 miles apart...then he moved farther away from me - although it was for a job, not to send me a hint, I think. ;) Anyway, we were then 750 miles apart but managed to get to the point we're at now which is 2 inches apart. He moved in with me a few months ago and we're pretty much inseparable now. It can happen - trust me - and good luck!

God summons three world leaders before him: The Pope, the Premiere of the People's Republic of China, and Smirk.

God says to the three: "I've brought you here because you're the three most important people on earth, and I have a message I want you to give to the rest of humanity. I've been thinking about this who human race idea of mine, and quite frankly, you guys have been one long, embarrassing mistake. So I've decided to wipe you all out of existence at 12 noon GMT tomorrow. Now go tell the rest of humanity what awaits them." And with that, God whisked them back to where they'd come from.

In the Vatican, the Pope reappeared and the Cardinals crowded around him in awe, asking what happened. The Pope replied: "I have good news and bad news. The good news is that God exists. The bad news is he's going to kill everyone on earth tomorrow."

In Beijing, the Premiere reappeared and the Central Committee crowded around him in awe, asking what happened. The Premiere replied: "I have bad news and worse news. The bad news is that God exists. The worse news is he's going to kill everyone on earth tomorrow."

In the White House, Smirk reappeared and his cabinet crowded around him in awe, asking what happened. Smirk replied: "I've got good news and better news. The good news is I'm one of the three most important people in the world. The better news is we don't have to worry about my approval ratings any more!"

Tigers lost the first game of their doubleheader against the Angels today. Jeremy bonderman had a stellar performance cut short by a rain delay, and the bullpen couldn't keep the Tigers in the game.

Good news:

The Tigers won the second game, with Maroth pitching a gem. Inge and Monroe had Home Runs. Urbina got the save.

Good news: I'm two weeks shy of graduating from seminary, which will be, believe it or not, my first graduation ever!! :)


Bad news: I have 15 pages to write by Tuesday on how Christianity helped spread colonialism and globalization, and what I would do to fix these problems referencing only 10 dense essays picked by the professors which I haven't finished reading. :(
