How did it get to be Sunday night already?
I mean, I had a nice weekend and all, but wow, did it fly by... a nice nap, climbing yesterday, visiting friends with a new baby (who is adorable!) and hangin' out today at home... how about you?

1. Not to be completely snarky, but it got to be Sunday night in the usual
way, one second at a time, lol!

Sounds like you had a very pleasant weekend! As did I...yesterday, we went to a long lunch with some distant relatives and even though we had to drive both ways through some truly awful traffic, we had a very good time...Today, I went to the gym for an excellent workout, and the rest of the time I've spent reading the paper, and being HERE! Just started my own thread a few minutes ago, too...

Thanks for asking!

:hi:

4. That'd be nice, huh?
Our company just started offering total flex-time... I could work 10 hours 4 days a week every week if I felt like it. Sadly that doesn't work for me right now, but it sure would be nice to have another day off!

5. 4 is better than 5
Went to the 4 ten hour day awhile back, when you can try it. I took Wednesdays off and it really breaks up the week. Only thing...time flies every Wednesday too!

6. Yeah, that would be my plan
Right now it doesn't work for daycare reasons, but it will work eventually. Then again, I may be going back to finish my degrees before that point, lol. Who knows? Still, it'd be nice to work two 2-day 'weeks' :)

10. Well, first there was Friday night...
Then Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon, and Saturday evening.

Then Sunday morning, Sunday afternoon, and now, Sunday evening.

Hope that clears that up! :hi:

12. Got 4 copies of your pic printed. They need a day to dry,
you'll see them soon. Because I hadn't used the 4000 for greyscale printing before, you get the benefit of experimentation; there are a couple that simulate the old selenium toning we used to do in the darkroom...I think it's a nice effect.

14. Sweet!
If you're talking about the 'slightly grainy' look then yes, I absolutely will like them! I've got a couple that I've played around with in PS with some neat filtering... I should show you those sometime :) Thank you so much! :bounce:

16. Not grain. Selenium toner was used to give
black and white prints a "cold" (purple-ish) tone, sort of the opposite of the other toner that we used to use back in the darkroom days, can you tell I'm stalling here because for the life of me I can't remember the other toner that we used for a warm tone, Christ, I'm losing my mind, AHA there it is, SEPIA tone, that's the warm one.

17. Ah, ok....
That will definitely be interesting to see! I've played with the sepia tones a lot, but I don't think they'd be right for that pic. Can't wait to see what you did with it! :)

19. I kind of like Sunday nights.
It's a good wind-down time. I like to watch a little television, read a book, or just hang out here and relax.

My husband has homework to do, so if he comes down here to the office and sits on the loveseat to read, I might join him.

20. That's a nice way to look at it
I'll have to try to keep that in mind.... Right now I feel like a kid who is dreading having to go to school. Hopefully one of these years I'll land a job (or create a job) that I get excited about!

Sounds like a nice evening for you guys... what do you like to read?

21. I'm working on a Mary Higgins Clark mystery right now.
For fiction, I like mysteries, thrillers, and horror mostly.
